Part Two Creating a Fourth of July Cake
In part two of this video series you will learn how to finish off your masterpiece by adding the fondant stars and flag.
Video 10 How to prepare your fondant. You can buy at the store, a craft or baking supply store. This video show you how to ready the fondant for use. Always make sure the area is clean and free of debris. Fondant will pick up any color or debris so be very careful tow work with clean hands.
Video 11 Continue to prepare your cake toppers.

Video 13 In this video learn about cutting the fondant flag stripes. Remember to work with a lot of confectioners sugar so that you do not have problems with your fondant sticking to your work area. You may need to let your fondant harden a bit or try using a pizza cutter to cut your stripes.
Video 14 Time to transfer your flag to your cake. Use a big spatula and move a fondant flag to your cake. Remember your flag is just going to drape over your cake so there is not real right or wrong way to put the flag on the cake. Just make it look attractive to the eye.
