Easy Fudge

Don’t let the list of supplies or number of steps stop you from making this simple and delicious fudge. This is a good recipe to take to a cook out or picnic. You may want to keep this chilled until your group is ready to eat or set it out after the meal for everyone to munch on as they watch the fireworks or splash around in the pool.

Supplies Needed:

1 (one) 7 oz jar of Kraft marshmallow creme 1 large bowl
1 12 oz. bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 large spoon
1 tsp vanilla extract 1 non-stick sauce pan
3 cups sugar 1 spatula
¾ c. (1 ½ sticks) margarine 1 13×9 pan
1 (one) 5 oz. can of evaporated milk Aluminum foil
1 cup chopped nuts (optional) Cooking spray
Wax paper

Step 1:

Line your 13 x 9 pan with aluminum foil and spray the pan with cooking spray. This makes cleanup easier and allows you to easily cut the fudge later.  If you are taking these tasty bites to a bbq then why not buy a disposable 13X9 pan with a top.

Part Two Creating a Fourth of July Cake

In part two of this video series you will learn how to finish off your masterpiece by adding the fondant stars and flag.
