Table Toppers for your 4th Party

After you’ve chosen your plates, napkins, and cups you need to finish the table by choosing some finishing touches. Some ideas for table toppers include balloons, a sparkling foil star centerpiece, or a line of flags.

This year why not be a little more creative with your table décor and choose party favors as your table’s centerpieces. Scatter a variety of beads, sun glasses, lei’s, or other red white and blue favors along the table and encourage your guest to choose their favorite as they fill their plate.

The Festive Flag Razzmatazz Centerpiece is composed of mylar balloons, and a shooting metallic stars. It measures 14 inches tall and can be stored for use at another patriotic event or next year’s July 4ths BBQ or Picnic.

Looking for shooting stars choose the Stars Mini Cascade Centerpiece. This piece is made of foil and has a variety of red, blue and flag print stars shooting from the center of the piece. This centerpiece is 8 ½ inches tall and does need to be assembled.

Finally, choose a small flag and line the middle of the table with a row of flags. You can add some wooden stars painted red, white, and blue flag holders. This can be a simple project for the kids the week before the party. At the craft store find wooden stars, make sure they are at least an inch thick. Pick up red, white, and blue acrylic paints and brushes. Let the kids get creative painting, some can be solid, take a sponge and sponge on all the colors, or paint a flag or fireworks pattern on the flag holder.

These simple and fun pieces will make your table sparkle and shine at your party on the fourth this year.

Fourth of July Tableware

Setting a table for your Fourth of July party is easy. Let’s start with your table. Will you be having a small or large gathering? Do you want everyone to be able to sit at the table or will things be set up buffet style?

I suggest you always have three tables. The size of the table(s) can be smaller for a small group or longer for a larger group. The first table will be for forks, spoons, knife, napkins, plates, cups, ice, and drinks. The second table will be for the main attraction the food. The third table can be for the desserts.

Start by covering your table with a cloth. I would suggest a disable covering. Decide if you want a solid or print tablecloth. A simple blue, white, or red cloth is a good choice if you will have patterned plates, napkins, and trays. If you are going with solid plates and trays then choose something with a patterned background.

Next, you need plates, napkins, and cups. Depending on your theme, you might choose flag based tableware or if you are doing a more generic theme choose the Red and Blue Polka Dot American Party Pack.

This Polka Dot pack has everything you need for thirty-six guest. You receive a mix of red, blue polka dot plates as well as matching dessert plates, napkins, cups, forks, spoons and knives. You will also receive a solid table cover.

A great option is to purchase a party kit. For a flag theme, consider the Old Glory Kit-N-Kaboodle kit. This kit has everything you need for 8 guests, so make sure to pick up multiple kits if you have more guests. You will receive Dinner plates, cups, and napkins with a flag theme. The items are red, white, and blue and have a blast of fireworks shooting through the stars.

You also receive 12 balloons, a white table cover, and red ribbon. If you need a banner or more balloons, consider upgrading to the deluxe kit-n-kaboodle 4th of July party kit.

Finally, finish your table with a bit of sparkle. You will need either a flashy centerpiece or glittering confetti in a patriotic style. Confetti that is red, white, and blue stars or a star foil centerpiece will complete the look to your4th of July party table this year.
